DTF St. Louis episode 5 spoilers: The confrontation

Following what you see tonight on HBO, it only makes sense to want to know more about DTF St. Louis episode 5. We have passed the halfway mark!
So do we have all of the answers behind the series at this point? Absolutely not, but it does feel as though we are getting ever closer to him. There have been revelations aplenty on the part of Floyd, and just from that alone, we could be learning more about why Clark killed him … even if we really did. What does remain so curious about the story is how it tries to remain insular and character-based. There still are not a billion different suspects out there! With that, we tend to feel like whatever happened here is still very much tied to the characters at the top of the call sheet … even if they did not actually commit murder themselves.

Floyd confronts Clark about the affair. Plumb and Homer uncover new information about Carol’s past.
If there is a top story that we have entering the episode, it has a lot to do with Carol’s motive. If she does really stand to gain a million-plus dollars, can you easily argue that this makes sense? Absolutely, but this alone does not a murderer make. Things could still be a little bit more complicated than they appear. All of this is, after all, is largely informed by what Floyd overheard in the closing minutes of episode 4. He knows that something is going on with her and Clark, so what is he going to choose to do about it now?
