‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Heather Dubrow investigates Gretchen Rossi

Last week on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” we saw some pretty good news from the world of Heather Dubrow: She’s just been handed a part on “Malibu Country”! However, there somehow managed to be a way in which drama entered the mix, as Gretchen Rossi also claimed that producers of the show called her up and gauged her interest, but she opted instead to go and take part in Tamra Barney’s wedding dress shopping.

This is where things get fishy. In a sneak peek for tomorrow’s episode, Heather claims that she talked to producers of the show about Gretchen getting a gig, and they said that the part they had at one point intended for her ended up going away. Plus, there wouldn’t have been much of a conflict with the shopping, anyway, given that Heather filmed her part and was still able to go out with Tamra.

Then again, at the end of the day this entire fight is really just ridiculous. Why does any of this matter? Heather didn’t really need to do this much digging to be suspicious over whether or not her co-star was being upfront about what happened to her, and Gretchen may have just explained the gig to her co-stars in a way in which that made her feel positive. All you really need to know is that the job didn’t quite work out for her, but she still seems pretty happy, anyway.

Regardless, nobody’s watching “Malibu Country” anymore; the show was canceled by ABC earlier this spring after low ratings.
