The Morning Show season 5 spoilers: Renee Rapp signs on!

If The Morning Show season 5 was looking to garner even more star power, they have it today courtesy of Renee Rapp!

According to a new report coming in from Deadline, the singer is heading back to her acting roots for a major recurring role on the Apple TV hit. She is playing the part of Samantha, who is described further as “a young rising star in the UBN news division determined to make it in media on her own terms.” She joins a cast that features a lot of prominent stars led by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, and some other new additions to this season including Jeff Daniels and Jesse Williams.

Based on a lot of the casting updates we are seeing at this point for The Morning Show season 5, Apple is still clearly committed to making the series as buzzworthy and popular as possible. They have shown how much they are willing to invest into talent and clearly, they are not going to be backing away from that anytime soon. It remains unclear if season 5 will be the final chapter, but we have noted before that this could easily go on for however long a lot of the cast members want it to.

So when will it actually air?

Despite all the great casting news we have seen as of late, there is still a good chance we will be waiting a while. It would not come as some sort of seismic shock to us at all that we are stuck waiting around until the start of 2027 or even later. The best thing that we can do is be patient, and also hope that the performers are all going to bring great stuff to the table.
