Well, the primary thing that we can do here is let some of the unfortunate news out there — namely, that we are going to be waiting a little while to see the firefighter drama return. There is no installment next week, but at least the break here is going to be significantly better than the one we were stuck with during the Olympics a little bit earlier this year.

So what are we going to see coming up here? Well, the truth is that at present, there is not too much that has been said — save for the fact that “Firehouse 66” is the title for what is ahead. We imagine that a more official synopsis will come out as we do get closer to the next installment airing.

In general, it is our feeling now from here on out that we are going to be getting stories stuffed full of twists, turns, and of course danger — but then also a lot of experimenting when it comes to people in charge and beyond that, what in the world that is actually going to look like. The exit of Pascal is more than likely one of those things that is going to ring out through much of the season and by virtue of that, we really just have to be prepared in whatever way that we possibly can.

One more thing to remember

Is there going to be a season 15 coming down the road to NBC? Make no mistake that we would love that but at the same time, we’re in a spot where a lot of patience could still be required. If we are lucky, we will have a chance to know in full by early May.
