NBC’s ‘The Voice’ notes: Danielle Bradbery’s meeting, Chris Mann’s wedding

With NBC’s “The Voice” on hiatus now until September, why not take a quick look at what some of the show’s former contestants are up to? (Admittedly, we’re just rather happy right that we have enough former contestants to actually be able to write articles like this now.)

Let’s start things off here with Danielle Bradbery, who definitely has quite a bit to be excited about. Why? She’s the reigning champ, has a single coming out soon, and also is on the same Big Machine label as Taylor Swift. This certainly can’t be construed as bad news for someone who was literally just an average teenage girl with big dreams a year ago. The photo attached here is from Jimmy Harnen, and it features her along with her parents and many members of her new team.

The next few months are going to be huge for Danielle when it comes to the direction of her career, so let’s just hope that she is ready for this crazy ride.

Chris Mann news – Want to hear about another notable contestant from the past? Then you will be pleased to know that season 2 star Chris Mann has reportedly married his longtime girlfriend Laura Perloe in Malibu. Speaking to People Magazine, the two confirmed that they tied the knot in a ceremony that had very much a fiesta theme to it, as the two parties initially met at a Mexican restaurant in New York City many years ago.

Here is what Mann ultimately had to say to the website on the subject of this event:

“It is our favorite place on earth and all of our friends over the last seven years with us know this is our spot. So it was only appropriate to recreate this El Centro love that we have in our California way.”
