‘Under the Dome’ episode 3 preview: Take a slightly deeper look at ‘Manhunt’

For the time being, you certainly have to say that CBS has no problem being secretive when it comes to their storyline for “Under the Dome.” Why is that? For some of their promos, they really are not hesitant at all with showing us much of the same thing time and time again, and then hoping that we don’t get irritated.

The latest example of this? The new promo that the CBS show has released for “Manhunt,” the next new episode airing on Monday night. The good news is that there is at least a little bit more in the way of new footage in here compared to everything that we have seen on the show in the past. The bad news? This footage of Big Jim and a few other characters doesn’t really tell us anything new about the storyline as a whole.

What we can really tell you for sure about Monday’s episode is that one of its real objectives is to answer some more questions surrounding the mythology of this dome itself, including whether or not you can dig under it, and how much greater the reaction to this dome being present is going to be from the public outside of the dome. Things are starting to build up with intensity, and while we hear that it will be a few weeks before things start to truly get crazy, there are still plenty of other reasons to watch.
