So with the Olympics over, are Quinta Brunson and the rest of the cast yet? Not as of this writing … but rest assured that they will be soon.

Due to tonight marking the two-episode premiere of the Scrubs revival over on ABC, the plan is to bring back Abbott Elementary on March 4. Because so many episodes have already aired, there is still plenty of time to have the rest of the season air before getting to the end of May. The hope remains that we’re going to have new character revelations, plenty of laughs, and then also some relatable moments for some of the teachers. There may also be a few different things that tap into parts of your own childhood!

Season 5 episode 14, “Aide” (March 4) – Janine asks Ava for a classroom aide, and the school seeks out a new gym teacher. Meanwhile, Dominic confides in Jacob.
Season 5 episode 15, “Safety Day” (March 11) – An antidrug campaign visits the school, and Jacob is outraged by an unfair district election.
In general, we do imagine that as we get closer to the end of the season a couple of larger stories could emerge — but is it too early to get into some of those now? That’s what we feel for now, but we are certainly excited to find out more about whatever the future could hold.
