Extracted season 2 episode 6 preview: A scavenger hunt

As we look ahead to Extracted season 2 episode 6 on Fox next week, is there another twist that will be thrown directly into the contestants’ faces? Well, it appears that way.

In general, though, we do think that this is one of those formats that is really defined by a lot of the twists and it is exactly what the producers want. They are doing whatever they can to ensure that none of the survivalists can really have a chance to let their guard down — and also, they want the families to be constantly stressing over what to do from here. Moving forward, we are going to be seeing a scavenger hunt, something that feels fun on purpose but could have some drastic consequences.

To get a few more details on what is ahead here, be sure to check out the Extracted season 2 episode 6 synopsis below:

Survivalists compete in a wilderness scavenger hunt with game-changing consequences while a family at HQ makes a strategic choice that pushes one survivalist to the edge. in the all-new “Bitter Cold Consequences” episode of Extracted airing Monday, Mar 2 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (EXT-206) (TV-14 L)

We are in an interesting part in the season now, mostly because the bigger reality TV names entering the season (think Sandra Diaz-Twine) are now gone. Can the rest of the show sustain itself? It did in season 1, and we hope that a lot of that audience is still there. We do still think there’s a chance that some more familiar faces from the reality TV world could be back in a possible season 3, but we’ll likely have to wait and see what happens with that for some time. (Also, the ratings need to be strong enough here so that the show does come back for more.)
