Paradise season 2 episode 3: Who is Alex?

We had a feeling that the first three episodes of Paradise season 2 would contain a number of different twists and turns … but who is Alex at this point? Well, let’s just say that this is something that we are certainly left to wonder on many levels.

First and foremost, we have to talk about when the character’s name was first brought up — within the lens of Link, the new character who met Annie at Graceland. As it turns out, he and his group are trying to get to Colorado to take Alex out. Meanwhile, we learned more in episode 3 that this is clearly someone tied to Sinatra’s secret project — or is this the project? These are the sort of things that we are left to wonder at this particular point.

What we can at least say right now with a measure of confidence is that Sinatra is clearly out to do something drastic, with the implication here being that she is trying to find a way to go back in time, perhaps to ensure that the events of the past never end up happening. Is this series going full Lost? It is far too early to wonder about that, but we are not in a place now where there are a lot of clear answers to that at present.

In general, we do think that we are going to be getting some more answers on this sooner rather than later. After all, one of the thrilling parts about Paradise is that we do tend to get resolution to things not too long after they are brought up. This is a pretty-direct result of the show continuing to give us fairly short seasons.
