Survivor 50 video: The Jenna Lewis gameplan

There are without question a number of things to be excited about entering Survivor 50 — and of course, Jenna Lewis is high on the list. We are beyond thrilled that so many years later, the CBS show managed to bring back at least one contestant from Borneo.

What is even more interesting about her presence here is that there is a really good chance Jenna comes into this game underrated. While she lost out to the dynamic duo of Rob and Amber on All-Stars, what would have happened had she made it to the final two? There were so many hurt feelings on that jury and she came pretty close to making the improbable happen.

If you head over to the link here, you can see a Survivor 50 spotlight from CBS that puts Jenna front and center. You obviously get a lot of nostalgia in here but at the same time, a good bit of insight from her in the present about how hard she is going to play. She did that in All-Stars and is eager to do that here — and also seems fine with any preconceived notions that players may have about old-schoolers. If they think she doesn’t have the strategic mind for modern gameplay, she could use that to her advantage.

From where we sit, we really just feel like Jenna simply just needs to be flexible and have that be her top gameplan. After all, Colby is the only other cast member she’s played with before, and she can try to use nostalgia and her status as an icon to her advantage elsewhere. If she can prove herself to be useful to the games of others early on, that raises the chances that she sticks around for a long time.
