Is there any chance that we are going to hear more about The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3 between now and the end of February?

Of course, there are a lot of different things that we can get into within this piece, but we should just start with a good reminder here that production for the Jeffrey Dean Morgan – Lauren Cohan series has been done for a little while now. While everything may be quiet at present, this does not mean it will stay that way forever. As a matter of fact, we are doing our best to be hopeful that some more news regarding the future will be out before too long.

Does this mean that The Walking Dead: Dead City season will be out this spring? Probably not, as we are projecting right now either a late summer or fall start thanks mostly to one thing: AMC’s already-announced schedule. Dark Winds is on the air now and we know already that Interview with the Vampire is coming this summer. Our current feeling is that we’ll get back into Negan and Maggie’s world after that, but things have to be flexible for at least the immediate future. After all, remember that there is also the Daryl Dixon show in the franchise to think about; we personally think that Dead City could be back first, but with the zombie franchise, there is a sense of unpredictability that happens sometimes.

As for what we’re expecting now story-wise, it is really a combination of new foes and relationship growth. We do think that the dynamic between the lead characters here remains one of the most fascinating in the entire franchise; there is an inherent tension that will never go away and yet, both are seemingly essential to the future of New York. How do they find ways to coexist?

What are you most excited to eventually see on The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3?

Be sure to share right now in the attached comments! Once you do just that, remember to come back — there are a lot of other updates on the way soon.
