Call the Midwife season 15 episode 6 promo: New tension?

As many of you may be aware at this point, you will have a chance to see Call the Midwife season 15 episode 6 arrive on BBC One this weekend. What all is there to say about it now?

Given that we are just three episodes now from the end of the season, we would not blame anyone out there who felt like there needed to be a little more movement on some long-term stories, with the future of Nonnatus House being among the top. We do want to believe there is a world where it can permanently exist, but will that ever happen in the form that it once did? Well, remember for a moment that in between the NHS and hospital births, it is already having to evolve … but that evolution may happen a little more quickly over the rest of the way.

If you head over to the link here, you can see a new Call the Midwife promo for this weekend that does signal some drama is coming … but it does skirt some of the larger questions. Instead, it remains as patient-focused as almost any other that we have had a chance to see over the years. Trixie has to deal with a medical mystery, there is conflict with some of the Sisters, and we do hope there is a chance for a largely peaceful conclusion.

If nothing else, we do tend to think that this installment will end on a somewhat-happier note than what we saw last time. We say that, at least, with the hope that we are not going to see someone else depart after Sister Veronica.
