The Traitors US season 4: EP on all-star season possibilities

We had a feeling that The Traitors US would eventually consider an all-star season — it is just too smart of an idea not to! There are so many iconic contestants we have had a chance to see compete over the years, so why wouldn’t we want more of them sooner rather than later?

Well, here is the rather-simple reminder that we are still pretty early on in the process of this show defining its legacy. There is a reason why Survivor did not do an all-star season until season 8; we do not think the Alan Cumming hosted show is going to make us wait as long a span of time, but there are clearly a few different things that we have to think about when it comes to how often they want to reuse talent. (There is a difference between bringing Dorinda back and inviting a ton of icons back to the castle.)

Speaking via Variety, here is what executive producer Sam Rees-Jones had to say on that subject:

I mean, we’re only on Season 4! We’re still a baby, but who knows. We have no control over who leaves the show at what course, and are there people that have left the show in the last four seasons that we would have liked to have seen a bit more of? Absolutely.

Our feeling is that come season 7 or so, we could see something like this happen. However, we do need to see what happens with both season 5 of the Peacock show and, potentially, what happens on the NBC version featuring all-new players. Should it also be considered on some level?
