Is Sheriff Country new tonight on CBS? We hardly think it will come as a shock that we would love more of the Morena Baccarin series and soon. It has been off the air, after all, for the better part of the past couple of months!
So is the hiatus about to come to a close? Well, let’s just say that we have some good and bad news we are going to share within…

We don’t want to focus solely on the gloomy stuff here, so let’s just kick things off here with the bad part: There is no episode this week, with the same being said for the week after. The reason is simply that the network does not want to compete against the Winter Olympics and from a ratings standpoint, we get it.
The good news, however, is that the series will be back on February 27, and we can confirm that there is one more coming after the fact on March 6! If you look below, you can see a synopsis for each one of these episodes, which does do a nice job of further setting the table:
Season 1 episode 10, “Crucible, Part 2” – With Travis’ life on the line and the sheriff’s office under attack, Mickey must do whatever it takes to protect her people, on SHERIFF COUNTRY, Friday, Feb. 27 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
Season 1 episode 11, “The Aftermath” – When a courthouse security test ends in a shocking murder, Sheriff Mickey Fox uncovers a dangerous conspiracy reaching deep into Edgewater’s justice system, on SHERIFF COUNTRY, Friday, March 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
In the end, there will be a lot more after this, as well! Let’s hope to be able to share that goodness before too long…
