Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 5 premiere date: Feb. 2026 update
With us nearing the middle of February, are we finally going to get more news on a Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 5 premiere date? If nothing else, there is a strong case to be made for more news and soon.
Where do we start? Well, it feels most notable to remind you that production for the final chapter of the show has been done for a long time. As a matter of fact, the focus behind the scenes now seems to be on Power: Origins, the next prequel that will also feature more of MeKai Curtis as Kanan Stark. We recognize that Starz does like to space out the shows in their franchise a little bit and with Power Book IV: Force ending not too long ago, they may be willing to take their time to a certain extent.

With that being said, though, let’s just go ahead and say that we would be pretty stunned if we did not get a Power Book III: Raising Kanan premiere date announcement over the next couple of months, especially since a May or June return makes a whole lot of sense. It would position the series to come back around the time in which another hit in Outlander is ending, and we do think that late spring / early summer is a window where this franchise performs really well. It would also make a good bridge moving into Origins, which we hope is going to come out either at the end of this year or in early 2027. (Remember that beyond this show, there is also a hope for a Power: Legacy present-day show featuring Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr. reprising their roles.)
As for the future of Raising Kanan, we imagine that the final season will at least tie together the stories of many of the people in Kanan’s life, as well as feature more of Breeze, one of the most foundational and mysterious characters within series lore. There is a lot of ground to cover and when you think about it, not really that much time.
