‘Nikita’ season 4: Watch Wayne Brady sing a song about Maggie Q
You could say that The CW is going a little bit over the top when it comes to some of their product placement on their “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” revival, and you really would not by lying given that they are mostly shoving their network’s own celebrities into various skits. However, we still have to celebrate anything that brings “Nikita” a little bit of extra attention!
In the video below, you can see a sneak preview at a “Song Styles” sketch (one of the long-standing traditions on the show) fronted by Wayne Brady, with the subject being a certain someone in Maggie Q who has already made quite a name for herself on her show. This video should really just be proof of a few very simple rules:
1. Maggie knows how to take a joke … or a few jokes. She’s a really good sport, isn’t she?
2. Nobody is quicker on their feet than Wayne, and the sort of stuff that he is able to do on this show is pretty unreal. We’ve missed this show in the time it was away, but it still feels almost as though it never left.
3. Who knew that there were so many clever names to bounce around with a woman’s name when her last name (at least professionally) is only one letter?
This entire season of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” premieres on Tuesday, July 16, and as someone who watched the original version of the show on ABC tireless, we could not be more excited, even when the brand synergy is less effective.
As for the final season of “Nikita,” there is still no official premiere date. However, you can click here if you do want to read some more news when it comes to what is coming up.
