Landman season 3: What is the biggest story challenge?

We are very-much lucky to know that a Landman season 3 is on the way over at Paramount+ and within that, there are many questions to ask — especially pertaining to how Taylor Sheridan tops what we saw at the end of season 2.

Ultimately, there are some things right now that feel reasonably easy to understand. Take, for example, how we are going to be seeing excitement out of Tommy’s new position. Him helping to lead a new company alongside Cooper, Rebecca, T.L., and so many others is instant entertainment, especially if Demi Moore sticks around as a major rival in Cami.

On the home front, we also tend to think that Angela’s presence is a given thanks in part to how connected she is to both Tommy and others who are a part of the operation … but what about Ainsley? For now, that seems to be one of the larger questions that we are stuck wondering about at this particular moment. Michelle Randolph’s character is currently in college, and it was easy to say that in the finale, a lot of what she was doing was disconnected from everyone else. If she’s there, that could continue to be that way — especially since that is far removed at times from the actual oil fields.

So is there a way to balance all of this out? We hope so, mostly because if you are going to keep the Ainsley character (polarizing as she is) around, you at least need to figure out some ways to loop her into the rest of the show. Otherwise, it could be akin to watching different programs within the same hour! If there is one thing that Landman season 3 needs in particular, it is cohesion. (If we said anything beyond that, it is that it could benefit from a little bit more action.)
