The Traitors UK season 5 premiere date hopes on BBC One

Following the season 4 finale of The Traitors UK today on BBC One, doesn’t it make more sense to look ahead towards season 5? From where we stand, it certainly does feel that way!

First and foremost, though, let’s just begin here with a reminder that the fantastic reality competition show has already been renewed — not only that, but there is also another celebrity version on the way! We do get worried sometimes about oversaturation but because the games are so based on the contestants, we have yet to find ourselves in a spot where we are remotely bored. The UK version does an outstanding job with casting, and they also may have the best host in the entire franchise in Claudia.

So when will we see season 5 (or series 5, as it is called overseas) on the air. More than likely, at the start of 2027. This is a schedule that works well for the network and they likely see no real reason to change it. Filming should happen at some point around the summer, with the only challenge being scheduling things in the castle. The Traitors UK shares a location with a US version of the show, and that is also why a lot of the challenges and twists are rather similar.

As for the next celebrity version…

Our sentiment at present is that we are going to have a chance to see that air at some point this fall and of course, we’re beyond eager to see the cast for that! It was really impressive just many legitimately famous people they were able to grab for the first go-around, so we do want to see if there is a way to keep that going. The most important thing is that there are people eager to play and ready to be cutthroat.
