‘Arrow’ season 2: Celebrate July 4 with Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards

Who is ready for “Arrow” season 2 to come back? We certainly are, though the reality is that we still have a while to wait until Wednesday, October 9 rolls around. Luckily, The CW is keeping up their habit of being extremely warm and generous to fans, and with that in mind, we have some brand-new images to share from the behind-the-scenes photo shoot, which is really just a precursor for the actual photo shoot that will have its images revealed in a matter of weeks.

The first image shared by the show on its official Twitter account features none other than Stephen Amell’s character of Oliver Queen, looking about his intense as you would expect given what some of his focus is going to be on moving forward: Trying to take down a myriad of evil-doers at breakneck speed. You’ll notice a theme from both this and the other image, at least in that they are similar to ones that we’ve seen previously, albeit from different camera angles.

Meanwhile, the other image that we have to share here is of both fan and personal favorite Felicity Smoak, who goes yet again for a look that seems to combine the nerdy computer programmer persona with some of the more glamorous look that we first saw during missions last year. We hope this season to find out a little bit more about who Felicity is away from work, and why she would be willing at all to be dragged into this sort of mess of a situation where her life is in danger.
