‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Now with a touch of the Tonys
Who wants to see “True Blood” season 6 book an accomplished actress for a few upcoming episodes? While it is only a two-episode arc, we are nonetheless trying to do our best to speculate as to what this role could really be.
According to Deadline, Tony Award nominee Valarie Pettiford has scored a major recurring role on the HBO series, where she will be appearing in the seventh episode of the season. So who will she be playing? Although the network has not released those details just yet, what we can tell you is that this is around the time that the show plans on killing off one of its major characters, so it is certainly possible that this casting could be tied to that in some way.
As of right now, what we believe to be the major storylines of season 6 are as follows:
1. Governor Burrell’s attempts to try and destroy vampires once and for all, especially within the state of Louisiana, and the attempts by Eric and his crew to combat that.
2. Bill learning what it means to have the blood of Lilith in his veins, and if we could ever see him perish as a result.
3. Sookie and Jason not only looking to find Warlow, but stop him before he does anything to hurt them and their family in an irreversible way. (Good luck with that, given that the guy has hardly been easy to track down so far.)
