The Dutton Ranch premiere date: Is more news coming soon?

For everyone out there eager to see The Dutton Ranch on Paramount+ before too long, we do have some positive news! After all, it does appear as though the light is at the end of the tunnel now for the Yellowstone spin-off featuring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser as Beth and Rip.

So what is the good news? Well, the image above (from a recent sizzle reel) makes it pretty clear: The show is “streaming soon” at the service, but it is left more to us to know exactly what that means.

What we can say is that from our vantage point, “soon” probably means the next few months. Another show in the same sizzle reel in The Madison just got an announced March 14 start date, so it would not be a shock if the series were to arrive in April. At the very least, we feel hopeful it will emerge within the first half of 2026.

What do we actually know about the new series?

Well, a lot of the finer details are still unclear, save for the fact that Beth and Rip are going to be starting up their own property, which we saw at the end of the Yellowstone series finale. It feels far more like an underdog story than anything that we saw with John Dutton, and that could be a part of the appeal here. The star power is not necessarily here as much without Kevin Costner, but we are still looking at some extremely popular characters.

The biggest hope we have personally is that Taylor Sheridan really captures more of the scope and feel of the early seasons — and avoids some of the over-the-top elements of season 5, or some of what he has done recently with Landman.

What are you most eager to see at this point entering The Dutton Ranch?
