Remember when Sean Lowe suggested that Jef Holm’s name be thrown into the ring to become the next star of “The Bachelor”? Well based on what we are hearing now, he is not the only star from Emily Maynard’s season of “The Bachelorette” to want to see the Utah water guru and adventure-seeker in the leading role next year.
Executive producer Mike Fleiss is already starting to take recommendations to see who can be the star of the show next year, and out of the people from Desiree Hartsock’s season, Zak Waddell seems to be the favorite. (However, Chris Harrison himself seems to be saying good things about Drew Kenney already.) However, Jef has the support of a number of the show’s longtime fans, including “Bachelor Pad” alum Chris Bukowski, who was in Emily’s final four before getting sent home after hometown dates. In a new post on Twitter, he said he would “nominate” Jef in response to Fleiss’ pleas.
For those curious about Jef’s candidacy, he is reportedly single, and he has a story that most people associated with the franchise will be familiar with. Plus, he also still has a good reputation despite the break-up with Emily, and just as with her, viewers could decide that he is worthy of another chance to find love. We also don’t think that anyone from this current season is that strong a candidate, especially when you consider the ratings. It’s better to look for someone that is a little more memorable.
