Well, first and foremost, this could be an episode about obsession, but also about finding a way to take down someone who is especially dangerous by the name of Jerry Hudson.

The President is about to visit the city, and it seems like a lot of this story tonight is going to be about stopping something terrible before it ends up happening.
As for how a lot of the characters are going to adapt to the intensity of this case, the promo does give you a good reminder that we’re going to be seeing Lucy Chen working with a lot of the people share cares about. We did tend to figure that the writers were going to find a way to make this happen, and undo the whole idea of her working a night shift as soon as humanly possible. After all, there was never a lot of logic with her taking that role on in the long-term, since it would sideline her from being a part of some other stories for an extended period of time. Why would that ever be considered great for the story?
In the end, we’re just curious to learn if this Jerry characters is a one-episode adversary or something bigger…
