Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 5 premiere date: Jan. update

Is there a chance that we’re going to hear more about a Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 5 premiere date this January? We may not have to tell you this, but of course the demand is here! The next chapter of the series will be the final one; yet, at the same time, it seems to be setting the stage for a new prequel series titled Power: Origins. There is a lot that needs to be set up, and also a lot of chaotic storytelling we are likely about to watch.

So as we look more and more towards the future of the franchise, we do think it is important to note that Starz should really get the ball rolling. Don’t you want to drum up some excitement?

Well, at present our feeling is that Power Book III: Raising Kanan will arrive in either the spring or summer, so we may have to wait a little while longer. However, is there a chance that we’re going to be getting an exact date soon? If there is, we tend to think it would be tied to the upcoming series finale of Force airing this Friday. It just makes a lot of sense at this point to use one show to better set up the other.

As for what is coming up now story-wise…

Well, this is probably where we should issue a reminder that there are a lot of people on this prequel that were never mentioned by 50 Cent’s Kanan Stark on the original Power. This leads us to believe that either a lot more people are about to die, or we are going to see some of them get out of town as fast as humanly possible. Honestly, enough has happened at this point for either outcome to make sense for a lot of characters.
