Following the events of tonight’s big premiere on PBS, we certainly understand anyone who wants to know more on Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 2. So what exactly does the future look like?

Before we dive too much further into any one thing here, we do think it is worth spending some time setting up the overall vibe of this story. Alexander Blake has been around long enough as a character for us to understand him to a certain extent … and also the feelings that Eliza is starting to feel for him. This show is moving in an always-entertaining direction of characters working together on cases while, at the same time, there are also some feelings to manage. Balancing all of this out could prove to be messy but also entertaining — this is especially the case next week, when there will be even more that needs to be managed.

To get a few more details on what lies ahead, be sure to check out the full Miss Scarlet season 6 episode 2 synopsis below:

The divorce of a high society couple causes scandal when their settlement becomes public and their prize racehorse goes missing. The horse has disappeared from its stable and each party blames the other. It’s a case with blackmail, murder and two people at its center who hate each other. Is it a warning for Eliza and Blake about what could happen to them?

We do tend to think that this is the perfect time for a story like this, mostly because you have characters here who are still fairly early in a relationship — no matter how you want to define it. Because of this, there is often something really entertaining that comes with shining a light on them and following that, seeing just how they react.
