As we get prepared to see The Traitors UK season 4 episode 5 on BBC One tomorrow night, is this game about to be turned on its head all over again?

Well, we really should start first and foremost by saying here that we are coming on the heels of a dramatic twist, with Fiona being declared the Secret Traitor. She has clearly established herself as a dangerous player, but trying to take her out could prove tricky at this point. Stephen and Rachel have to figure out how to handle this, and beyond just this, the repercussions that come with Ross’ exit. In a way, he was really useful to all of them as a shield, given that there were so many people convinced that he was up to no good. How do you deal with suspicion floating elsewhere now?

Following a sleepless night, the players arrive at breakfast, eager to share their latest thoughts on the Traitors’ gameplay. With a mission focused on protection from murder, true intentions are laid bare. A fractious Round Table causes the game to heat up, and repercussions of the latest banishment create new suspicions. Can the Traitors keep control?

The biggest thing that we will say so far about this season is that in general, it has been very much well-edited. We’ve rather enjoyed getting to know a lot of personalities, and it also makes us feel like almost anyone left could emerge as the victor. We’ve seen so many seasons of the show over the years that we realize that sometimes, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time (and to the wrong person) can seal your fate.
