Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 5 premiere date: Winter reveal?

At some point between now and the end of the winter, are we going to get a premiere date for Power Book III: Raising Kanan season 5 over at Starz?

Of course, it does make all the sense in the world for the network to get on releasing something here in the relatively near future. This season has been done filming for a long time now, and we know that the final episodes here are going to give way in part to Power: Origins, which will help to tell the tale of Ghost, Tommy, and their early relationship with Kanan Stark. There’s still a ton to be excited about when it comes to this franchise, and we certainly do not think that you can delay some of these announcements forever!

So when it comes to looking towards the future, the biggest thing that we will say is that the network has already put out some teasers for Raising Kanan season 5 as it is, so why not try to keep things going here? We do tend to believe that we are going to be getting more insight before too long, whether it be another tease or a specific date announcement.

From where we sit at present, a spring / early summer release here probably makes the most sense, largely because Starz will likely want at least some distance between the end of Power Book IV: Force and what we are getting here with the prequel. A date that we would watch for a possible announcement here is January 16, mostly because that is when the series finale of the Tommy Egan spin-off is going to air. We have seen the network before used finales to set up what is ahead in the rest of the franchise — so why not do that here?
