Pluribus season 1 episode 9 (finale) spoilers: Manousos is here…
Next week on Apple TV, we will have made it officially to Pluribus season 1 episode 9 — in other words, the all-important finale. There may be a lot of big moments that happen in here, especially since the show got an early season 2 renewal. That means that there is no real pressure for Vince Gilligan and the rest of his team to wrap things up and instead, they can choose do deliver a huge cliffhanger if they are eager to do so.
What we can go ahead and say is that “La Chica o El Mundo” is the title, which translates roughly to mean “The Girl or the World.” This implies that some sort of choice will need to be made. Also, it being in Spanish is a clear bit of evidence that Manousos is front and center. That makes sense given Zosia’s warning at the end of episode 8 that he is very-much on the way.

What we are perhaps the most eager to see moving forward is whether Carol will still buy into all of his philosophies when it comes to the Joined. Sure, she is trying to get to the bottom of them but at the same time, she clearly holds a measure of affection for Zosia. They have developed something romantic at this point, and she may be trying to just embrace what she has if this is really the world that exists for her. This guy could come up and shake everything up — for better or worse.
There is no denying that the series took its time making it to this point. We just have to hope now that the end will be worthwhile.
