‘Dexter’ season 8: Michael C. Hall, Yvonne Strahovski return to Comic-Con
Okay, let’s get this introductory pun over with: “Dexter” is back to kill again at Comic-Con this year, and Showtime will be bringing some familiar faces along for the ride. For the second straight year, Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, and special guest star Yvonne Strahovski (a Comic-Con favorite dating back to her days as Sarah Walker on “Chuck”) will be present in San Diego to talk about the show, but this time it will be their last-ever appearance with the series.
The panel will be on Thursday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. Pacific time, and it will be held in the cavernous Hall H that is so big, Dexter would have to go to a saran warp factor to find enough material to prepare it as a kill room. Hall, Carpenter, and Strahovski will be joined by David Zayas (Batista) and James Remar (Harry), and we will also see executive producers executive producers John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Scott Buck and Manny Coto. There will also of course be some signings that happen that same day at Showtime’s booth.
By the time this panel happens, “Dexter” will have two more episodes under its belt, which should give everyone in attendance a chance to ask some more pointed questions as to what’s going on with this Evelyn Vogel character, and how the series could potentially end. This is the first real opportunity that anyone has had to do something like that, given that the show in the past has only come to Comic-Con prior to the season premiering.
