NCIS season 23 spoilers: A Christmas episode is on the way!
For those of you wanting a little bit of holiday cheer within the world of NCIS, let’s just say that we have some rather excellent news to share today!
In a press release today, the folks at CBS confirmed that come Tuesday, December 16, you are going to be seeing a holiday-themed installment of the crime procedural air titled “Heaven and Nature.” This is one that will feature not just some seasonal storylines, but also a few major story reveals as well. The big arc with Parker and his mother could hit a zenith, and Knight’s work with the Elite team could lead to a few revelations of its own.

“Heaven and Nature” – McGee and Torres try to recover a stolen truck filled with toys for the Navy’s annual Christmas drive while the truth about Parker’s mother is finally revealed. Also, Knight is given her first NCIS: Elite mission, which involves tracking down a former member of the team, on the CBS Original series NCIS, Tuesday, Dec. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
When it comes to the Knight part of the story, the question we want an answer to at this point is simply this: Are we talking about a former member of Elite, or a former member of NCIS itself? There are some team members out there who could be fun to revisit, but that is something to take a wait-and-see approach on. After all, the last thing we want to do here is burst onto the scene giving anyone some false hope.
