Well, the first thing that we will go ahead and mention here is that insofar as potential goes, what we are seeing from this installment is pretty darn limitless. “Maxine Solves a Murder” is a fundamental opportunity to let Kristen Wiig utilize almost every single tool in her arsenal, whether it be comedy, a little action, but also taking on characters within herself. This is going to be a slinky, crazy episode with a lot of bit moments — and given that we are still pretty early on in the season, there is a lot of potential for it to move in some new directions, as well.

Of course, we are curious what this epiphany is going to be, but then also if Maxine is going to be able to keep her facade going after this. After all, so much about the show for this character is about her putting on the right face at the right time. It is also going to continue to encapsulate the era at the same time. We are eager to see what lies ahead and beyond that, what other sort of big names are going to be brought on board. After all, one of the most impressive things about the series at this point are the wide array of names who are brought in as main characters.
