Pluribus season 1 spoilers: How much does Rhea Seehorn know?

When you consider the sort of series that Pluribus is over on Apple TV, of course it makes a lot of sense to have a near-constant stream of questions as to what is going on.
Now that we’ve said that, who do you actually go to in order to get answers? Let’s just say that doing that is so much easier said than done. Vince Gilligan as a creator obviously has a good sense of everything, but that doesn’t mean anyone else does. That apparently includes star Rhea Seehorn, who seems more than happy to not have all the information as she plays Carol.

In speaking about this further to Entertainment Weekly, here is some of what the Better Call Saul alum had to say when it comes to getting answers on her character:
“There’s no secret that we’re not letting you in on as far as I know, but I can tell you I felt very relieved that I was playing a character that had no idea what was going on because I, Rhea, have no idea what’s going on … Carol’s very smart. She’s doing the best she can as you see as the series progresses to try to unravel what is going on and get some real answers. But I don’t know, and I must admit that I was perfectly happy to say, ‘Oh, that’s not my job.'”
Now, do we think we are going to understand everything before the season concludes? That feels possible but at the same time, far from confirmed. We know already that Pluribus has a season 2 order and could go on beyond that. If you are Gilligan, are you going to be rushing out information unless you feel you have to? From where we sit, we tend to think that he has some other priorities.
