Billy the Kid season 3 episode 7 spoilers: Last before finale

Next week on MGM+ you are going to have a chance to see Billy the Kid season 3 episode 7, and it goes without saying this one is huge. Whatever happens here is almost certainly going to carry into the upcoming finale, which is where we expect that we are going to see some real resolution when it comes to the story of the title character and Pat Garrett.

If you are familiar with history, then at this point you know how the story ends. However, at the same time, we do think there is wiggle room around this to better understand motivations and fears.

Living far from his glory days after losing his badge in disgrace, Pat Garrett is forced to face the haunting truth behind his tarnished reputation when Billy and Jesse hunt him down seeking vengeance and their own brand of frontier justice.

We do tend to think that the remaining episodes here are going to be both action-packed and violent, and so much of that makes perfect sense when you consider what we’ve had a chance to see over the course of this season already. We hope that we will dive deep into Garrett’s psychology in particular at this point, especially given the fact that at this point in the story, we would argue that he is every bit of as valuable a character as Billy. All of this does paint a really important picture entering the final showdown, especially since after the fact, there is a tiny bit of room for the story to talk more about the long-term impact of some of these decisions.
