Talamasca: The Secret Order season 1 episode 3: More crossovers?

Following the premiere last night on AMC, we do not blame anyone who wants more crossovers in Talamasca: The Secret Order down the road. Really, it is just a matter of when and how we get it.
First and foremost, we know that these are essential to a show like this! Daniel Molloy has already played an important role in the narrative, and more could be coming in some shape or form. Take, for starters, a report from TVLine that notes that you will hear some music-centric teases regarding Lestat the rest of the season — something that may be a rather nice reference for Interview with the Vampire season 3.

Meanwhile, co-showrunner Mark Lafferty had the following to say to the aforementioned website about some other crossovers that could be coming in due time:
“There’s a thing that happens to Guy in Episode 4 where Raglan James sort of T-bones his story … Without what Raglan gives him, Guy probably wouldn’t do what he does next. We started to see so many good uses of so many of the characters from Anne Rice’s universe that we can bring in to really help our story. Fingers crossed, if we get to Season 2, that will continue.”
Obviously, we still think that Talamasca benefits from telling its own story and by virtue of that, we do not think that it can be solely reliant on crossovers to generate buzz. However, if these can accent the story on some level, why not embrace them? It allows for a chance for there to be even more craziness and also reward people who are watching all the shows across the greater Anne Rice universe. For now, there is a chance that we could be seeing both Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches on the air at some point next year.
