NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Royal Pains’ alum to guest as…
The cast for “Revolution” season 2 is growing yet again, and this time around, they are adding a guy who could be somewhat of a thrill-seeker when the NBC drama returns to the air on September 25.
Sources have confirmed that former “Royal Pains” actor Patrick Heusinger will recur through at least the early portion of the polarizing sci-fi / action show as Adam, a guy in his thirties who likes to basically live life to the best of his ability. He’s good-looking, adventurous, and should be a very interesting foil to anyone who he comes into contact with.
Heusinger joins an expanding guest cast that also includes “Rubicon” actress Jackie Collins, who is playing a woman that is going to be a possible new love interest for one of the male characters. There are a number of other characters coming up, but it’s hard to say that they could have the same sort of substantial role on the upcoming season.
As you surely know by now, much of the show is changing course moving into the new season. Production is shifting from North Carolina to Austin, where filming will take place for the upcoming season. This means several new crew members, and maybe even a fresh start for a show that was praised often for its visual presentation, but chided for its storytelling for much of the first half of the season.
What do you think about this casting, and do you feel that new characters could be the secret to “Revolution” ultimately rising to new heights? We want to hear from you (as always) below! If you want to find out who else the producers are currently searching for, our suggestion is to check out the story here.
