Is Last Week Tonight with John Oliver new tonight on HBO? We certainly do not blame anyone who does want more of the show. After all, there is so much happening in the political world right now, and there are few shows who do as good of a job breaking a lot of this down.

Now, here is where we do go ahead and hand over the good news — you will be seeing Oliver back on the air in just a matter of hours! The plan here is for the next episode to arrive starting at 11:10 p.m. Eastern time, which is after HBO runs through everything when it comes to Task.

As for what you can expect to see over the course of this episode, let’s just say that there are probably not going to be too many surprises. A lot may be made of the President’s speech to the UN, or some policy matters. We do tend to think that the first ten or so minutes will be focused mostly on current events and then after that, we will then gravitate over to a main segment. This is a show that despite its ever-changing content, does still have a formula. We have a hard time thinking that we are going to be seeing too many changes too that.

Above all, it is our hope that we are going to be seeing a segment that does still valuable and important for some stretch of time. After all, we do tend to think that some of the better ones the show has produced over the years are the ones that we can sit back and enjoy for some stretch of time after they air.
