‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Ashley Benson and a trial

Ashley Benson(Update: Be sure to check out a preview for next week’s episode!) Who is going to be heading to trial on “Pretty Little Liars” moving deeper into season 4? Thanks to a new ABC Family press release, we now have an answer to that; however, we warn you now that if you don’t want to know, stop reading. We don’t want any angry messages from “A”.

A little later this month, think around the time the July 23 episode “Crash & Burn, Girl!” airs, we are going to see none other than Hanna Marin’s mother in some hot water, potentially over the death of Wilden. There is a trial coming, and she may be seen as the primary suspect given all of the information that is out there. We already know that Ashley was up to some sketchy stuff, and there were clear connections between her and the detective that the new cops on the scene, led by the by-the-book Holbrook, are going to be able to figure out.

However, don’t take this news as a sign that Hanna or the Liars will give up easily. Check out the short synopsis that the network released from this episode:

“With Hanna occupied because of her mom’s upcoming trial, Aria, Spencer and Emily band together to continue to investigate Wilden for information that could be used at Ashley’s trial.”

The one bit of good news in here is that based on this synopsis, it does obviously look as though most of Hanna’s friends believe her in regards to her mother’s innocence. But does that mean that she will really be able to avoid a strict slap from the right hand of the law? It’s going to be all about finding the real guilty party, since even we have a hard time believing that Ashley is actually responsible for something like this.

Now, let’s back up a little bit. Do you want to watch some sneak peeks for Tuesday night’s “Pretty Little Liars” episode? If so, we hope that the sneak peeks here will suffice.
