‘Ray Donovan’ episode 2 preview: A look at the rest of the season

Did you enjoy the premiere of Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” last night, and you are ready to see everything that is coming ahead? Well, the network appears to be ready to oblige with a full video look at some of the stories that are coming up in episode two and beyond for the show.

When it comes to story specifics, the preview does not really highlight much; instead, it focuses more on all of the wrinkles that come when you are a man in Ray’s position. While you may have power, you also have stumbling blocks, including having to deal with people that you would rather not deal with, heavy egos, near-death experiences, and family that questions why you are the way that you are. Clearly, putting your life on the line week after week is not something that everyone wants to see you doing.

From a pure visual standpoint, you can expect violence to be a major trope of this series, being that this is a way that Ray tends to handle himself in most situations. It’s a gritty, violent show about a man who does just about anything and everything that he needs to in order to get the job done, and not everyone is going to approve of his methods. We just hope that somewhere in there, some opportunities present themselves for more of a human element to be shown off.
