NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers: Who are producers searching for?
As you may or may not have heard about already, NBC’s “Revolution” is going to be putting itself through quite a few changes on this coming season. Not only is the show heading to a brand-new night in Wednesdays and time in 8:00 p.m. Eastern, but the show is even going to have a completely new city associated with it in Austin, Texas.
So what sort of people are production looking for to go along with this new location? According to a report from SpoilerTV, the powers-that-be over at NBC are hoping to secure such people as law enforcement, members of refugee groups, musicians, gamblers, and even people with a crazy ton of tattoos. Ultimately, it feels almost like the show is trying to just assemble as many different freak-like characters on the screen as possible. (If this turns out to be a scene featuring Charlie at the carnival, we will cry on our keyboard.)
While we know there are a number of people out there who have understandably jumped ship on this show after some of what they put us through in the first year, there is still quite a bit here to be excited about. For example, the writers have had a chance to see what the reaction was to the story the first time around, and can thus improve on it. In addition to that, the actors can do the same thing. The technical part of this show has always been pretty incredible, and it’s just time for everything else associated with the production to rise to the same sort of level.
What is your general excitement level like right now when it comes to “Revolution” season 2, and has the uneven nature of the show over the past several months tapered it for you in any way?
