Bad Monkey season 2 premiere date: An August 2025 update

Is there a chance that we are going to learn more about Bad Monkey season 2 between now and the end of August? Well, that is certainly something worth diving into further here.
Well, the first thing to note here is that while it would be great to see the Vince Vaughn series back on the air soon, it technically has not started filming — but it will shortly. The plan right now is for the series to start up this fall, where it will be shot primarily in Los Angeles — a change from what we saw from the first season. (There is still some exterior footage that is going to be captured back in Florida.)

Because of where things stand behind the scenes, this is where we do regrettably have to share some of the bad news: There is not going to be a lot more insight on Bad Monkey this month. A good bit of the season 1 cast should be back, with a big reason for that being that you are going to be seeing an original story here as opposed to an adaptation of Razor Girl. A lot of people assumed that this Carl Hiaasen novel would be the focus point for the next chapter, but that has already been proven to not be the case.
If we are lucky, we are going to get the show back in either the summer or fall of next year — at the moment, we tend to think that a number of series in the Bill Lawrence umbrella are coming, whether it be Shrinking, which has already filmed, or the next Ted Lasso, which is currently in production.
What are you the most eager to see at this point heading into Bad Monkey season 2?
Be sure to share right now in the attached comments! Once you do just that, remember to come back to get some other updates.
