We know that there are a number of questions floating around out there about Dexter: Resurrection, but for this one, let’s talk about names.

In particular, at the end of this past episode, we ended up learning that Gareth, the new villain played by David Dastmalchian, is actually a twin. Rather than this being the Gemini Killer, we are talking here about the Gemini Killers. Here’s the thing — what’s the name of this new character? Rather, is Gareth the person who is still alive?

Well, here is the crazy thing — in a new post on Twitter, executive producer Scott Reynolds actually confirmed that Gareth and his twin share the same name:

I’ve been asked about Gareth’s twin’s name – and the answer is… Gareth. Their mother named them both Gareth. Part of their damage. So I guess two Gareth’s are better than one.

In the end, we do tend to think that the surviving Gareth is going to be someone worth watching at this point, mostly due to the fact that he could be out for revenge. That is, of course, without knowing whether or not he knows about his twin’s death as of yet. Moving into episode 7 later this week, some of Leon Prater’s killers are heading off with him at a retreat. While there, we do tend to think that there could be a ton of different discoveries and honestly, that’s a part of the fun. We do anticipate more chaos and at this point, it wouldn’t be a shock if we do see someone die.

There are only four episodes left on Resurrection and at this point, we’re braced for chaos and carnage at every turn.
