Upload season 4 trailer outlines the threat of AI

For those who are not currently aware, Upload season 4 is coming to Prime Video on August 25 as a four-part event — and of course, we expect it to be epic.
Do we wish that there was more of the show coming than just four episodes? 100%, and it feels like this is a series that either ran out of time or money at the streaming service. Yet, regardless of whatever the reason is for the conclusion, we’re just glad to have one in general. We tend to think that Nathan Brown — in whatever form he takes — is going to get at least some measure of closure here.

If you head over here, you can see the full Upload season 4 trailer, one that introduces a lot of the obstacles facing Nathan and the rest of the characters. One of the biggest problems is that many of the employees are starting to be replaced by artificial intelligence, and that could become an even bigger problem when it starts to destroy much of what was created here in the first place.

In the four-part series finale event, sentient AI rapidly turns evil, threatening to wipe out Lakeview (and the world!). On top of greedy executives, lingering mysteries, plus heartbreak in VR and IRL, our characters are tested like never before. The only way they can get through it all and save humanity from deletion is by teaming up one last time.
At this point, it is our hope that Nathan and Nora find some happiness, that Ingrid finds a little bit more peace within herself and that in general, every single one of these characters has an opportunity to smile and laugh. The same goes for us! This show has been so incredibly unique and imaginative that it is still hard to digest the idea of saying goodbye.
