A new bit of casting information has dropped for The Pitt season 2 and with this one, there is a lot to ask when it comes to the romantic future of some of the characters.

So, what can we say at present? It is pretty darn simple. According to a report coming in from Deadline, Lawrence Robinson is set to appear in the upcoming season of the hit HBO Max show as Brian Hancock. He is reportedly described as “a sweet, charming, and kind-hearted patient who turns a soccer injury into a possible meet-cute with one of the doctors.”

It goes without saying, but who doesn’t love a little bit of romance? The problem here is that The Pitt is one of those shows that simply does not have a lot of time for it. Just remember everything that is consistently going on in here with the fast-paced natured of life in the hospital. Also, we know that the writers are not fully invested in the idea of giving these people consistently happy endings. It looked like Dana was about to quit last season. Meanwhile, Robby lost numerous patients and had an emotional breakdown. This is also just a tiny period of the characters’ lives, and sometimes, meet-cutes do not turn into anything more.

In the end, though, you better believe that we are at least excited to see all of this potentially play out. There also could be some more casting news that emerges before too long, so we’re also excited to dive a little bit further into that. For now, remember that season 2 takes place ten months after season 1, and is set on a July 4 weekend.
