‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: A tiny (but important) romantic detail

Life is full of surprises, isn’t it? This rule apparently also applies to the world of fake reality, meaning scripted television shows. (No, we’re not talking about some of that other “people fighting for airtime” garbage that you didn’t come here to read.) “Suits” season 3 is about to drop an interesting surprise on you in one of the early episodes, and we will be surprised if you knew it was coming. If you are one of these people, imagine us applauding you when you see the moment happening on TV.

According to a report from TVLine, one of the biggest surprises of the season will come when a character that you did not know was gay, actually turns out to be so. This moment does not happen in the premiere (which we have seen), so there is one hint that we have for you now. The rest, for now, is too juicy to spoil.

Obviously there are a few candidates that you can rule out here on the show, since you have seen them in romantic relationships that are heterosexual, and this is not going to be a series that throws you a complete curveball just for the sake of being like “it was all an act.” But we’d also encourage you to keep an open mind, and don’t spend too much time torturing yourself, trying to figure out who we are talking about. (You’ll only fry your brain in the process.)

For now, remember this: “Suits” season 3 premieres on USA on Tuesday, July 16 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, which in our mind is really not getting here fast enough. Blame the other USA shows for starting much too early.
