‘American Horror Story: Coven’ spoilers: A pair of Lily Rabe teasers

You cannot deny the greatness of Lily Rabe. Despite not even appearing in every episode of “American Horror Story: Asylum” as Sister Mary Eunice, she, along with James Cromwell, were in our mind the strongest performers of the entire season. If these two do not pick up some Emmy nominations for Supporting Actor / Actress in a Miniseries, we will cry in our Dr. Pepper.

For Rabe, the good news is that regardless of what happens come awards season, she will ready this fall with the new season titled “American Horror Story: Coven.” What sort of role is she going to play? While the actress would not disclose many details to TVLine, she did at least share a pair of rather valuable teasers:

1. This will be a role very different than anything that she played during the first two season of the show.

2. Rabe is also going to be spending quite a bit of time with Kathy Bates.

When you consider the latter note, and the fact that Bates’ character is being rumored to be so evil that it would make some of her past roles cower in fear, you have to figure that Rabe is either going to play some sort of equally-wicked minion, a prisoner cowering in fear, or a survivalist doing just what they need to in order to make it through the day.
