‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Will Pam and Eric hold on to their bond?
Ever since the not-so-humble beginnings of “True Blood,” we have had an opportunity to see Eric and Pam serve as this sort of odd couple for the undead. They care about each other, have no problem speaking their mind, and have put their own lives at risk in order to ensure that the other person is safe.
However, we have now starting to reach the time where the course is changing for the two. Now that Nora is around, Eric’s priorities are moving in a different direction. Meanwhile, the same thing can be said for Pam now that she has Tara. This will cause the two to be at times distant, but Kristin Bauer van Straten tells The Hollywood Reporter that she feels as though when the dust settles, these two are still going to think of each other before everyone else:
“They’re going to go through a lot, but I like to think that that bond is unbreakable … Even after he released her last year, I felt like that doesn’t change her feelings. I think it just means that he has to call her on the cell phone.”
During this upcoming episode, there may not be many opportunities at all for us to see Pam and Eric actually spend time together. Instead, she may be preoccupied with having to protect Tara at Fangtasia, while he is trying to work some tricks on Governor Burrell by potentially seducing the person that matters the most to him: His daughter.
What do you think about Eric and Pam’s relationship at this point, and do you think that they are going to emerge unscathed at the end of this? If you want to watch a preview for Sunday’s “True Blood” episode, you can do so over at the link here.
