ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Stana Katic understands Rick’s proposal

It’s the question that we have a feeling that “Castle” fans will spend the next few months trying to debate: Is Beckett going to actually say yes to that proposal? We see it as an issue of whether or not she feels like she can say yes given the situation, and the move that could be coming up with her to Washington DC.

But while there may be an issue of if the timing is right for Castle and Beckett, there is one thing that really cannot be questioned and that is their relationship lasting for a long enough time that a proposal is merited. Speaking to Zap2It in a new interview while promoting her movie “CBGB,” the actress explained what the situation between the two parties really is:

“I think they’ve been through a lot over the years … And so it’s justified in so many ways. Like, if they don’t know by now that they’re in love with each other, I think that we’ve missed the boat.”

As we have said before, we anticipate an answer coming on the subject of the proposal pretty early on during the show’s September premiere, but moving forward from that, it could take time to figure out what the future really holds for Beckett and Nathan Fillion’s character. If they do stay together, they have to be prepared for some serious challenges.
