‘Big Brother 15’ houseguest spotlight: Judd Daughtery

JuddThere’s no way getting around the amazingness that is Judd Daughtery. Robyn Kass and company did a heck of a job in casting this “Big Brother 15” season, and while there are a few too many alpha-males and young people, you do have some great characters like this guy, McCrae, and even the oh-so-delusional Nick that should be fun to watch.

The two things that are immediately apparent about Judd are that he would have fit in perfectly on MTV’s short-lived and unfortunately-tragic series “Buckwild,” and that it looks like he stole one of Jeff Schroeder’s shirts during his press junket interview with him. (Also, we will smack ourselves in the head with a clown shoe if we hear Jeff say “press junket” one more time.)

Name – Judd Daughtery

Age – 26

Location – Englewood, Tennessee

Job – Appraiser

Personality traits – Extremely outgoing, social, funny, but also quick-tempered and fiercely loyal. He’s just about what you would expect him to be: He’ll have a great time with you until you cross him, and he’d take a bullet for his friends and stay true to his own set of principals.

Strengths – He’s a reasonably-fit guy that could do well in the physical challenges, and he’s also probably going to get himself an alliance early on. While you want to be a gamer underneath the surface, it’s good at times to look somewhat clueless, and we’re pretty sure that Judd will just play up his personality and his fun factor like another Jud in the one nicknamed Fabio in “Survivor: Nicaragua.” Remember how that turned out?

Weaknesses – We don’t know how much this guy is even thinking about strategy, though he says he has a plan to work with some of the older people. He could be targeted as being annoying by some, and that quick temper could come back to bite bite him pretty early on in the game.

Early prediction – We actually think that Judd is going to go pretty deep in this game. He’s a big fan of the show, and while he’s physically capable, he’s not going to be a big threat. He’s also going to be smart enough to know not to mouth off to anyone unless it suits him. We see him leaving at around the final six.

Of course, we want to hear your take on Judd below, and to read all of our other preview coverage, including an exclusive chat with Rachel Reilly talking about her sister playing the game, all you have to do is click here.
