‘True Blood’ season 6, episode 2 preview: Alexander Skarsgard and ‘war’
Are you ready for the “True Blood” tension to be ratcheted up to yet another level? We hope so, since this is precisely what you are going to see on Sunday night’s new episode “The Sun.” This is an hour that looks to do a few important things in pushing forward the story of the season, and one of them is find a way to escalate the battle between the humans and the vampires further.
Last week, you saw Pam and Tara take the brunt of most of the attack, as Louisiana Governor Burrell’s mandate to shut down vampire-owned businesses led to Tara being burned badly by a new weapon. So what happens when Eric arrives on the scene? Basically, he manages to tick off his progeny.
In a video clip for the episode (which you can see over at SpoilerTV, since all of the swearing makes it a little too extreme for this site), you can see Alexander Skarsgard’s character basically act as confident as a vampire can despite the new pressure bearing down on his world. Given that humans have not been able to do much of anything to him in the centuries that he has been alive, he’s not going to be so worried now. Nora seems to ultimately agree.
As for Pam, she’s clearly not buying it. It’s understandable to panic in this situation, just as it is pretty hard to know just how these characters are going to work their way out of this messy situation for now.
What’s your take on the humans vs. vampires conflict: Should Eric be afraid? If you want to read some more news on what Kristin Bauer van Straten has to say on the destruction of the Pam character, just head on over to the link here.
