AMC’s ‘The Killing’ season 3, episode 5 preview: A different sort of car crash
On Sunday night’s episode of “The Killing,” you can expect to see all sorts of drama when it comes to some of these characters, whether you are talking about Seward’s continued attempts to sabotage his own possible quest for innocence, Bullet going even further down the rabbit hole, or Linden trying to correct a mistake from her past with Holder’s help.
But what we have in the video below (which comes to us straight from AMC’s YouTube page) is a rather bizarre scene all about a hit-and-run that is really different than any other hit-and-run that we have seen. What’s the reason for that? It’s all because of the simple fact that it is the person who is hit ends up running in the opposite direction. Is this Kallie? What makes this video so effective is how it is created almost from the driver’s perspective, so even you are left confused after watching it.
In just this one scene, you have what is “The Killing” in a nutshell: An extremely dark, lonely, and haunting drama series that really redefines what a murder mystery is. It is not a glamorous job in having to solve these cases; it is dreary and depressing, and it takes a toll on you to see the full extent to how other people suffer as the result of a stunning death like this.
